At Maltman’s Green there are no limits to learning. We believe that girls need to face challenges and take risks every day, and while not pushing them too far outside of their comfort zone, we also ensure that we do not hold them back. Through our personalised learning style, each girl is encouraged to work towards individual goals based on detailed monitoring and feedback of their progress and assessment. All of our girls are supported and challenged appropriate to their needs, enabling them to develop an awareness of their strengths and an understanding of the next steps. From this foundation grows positive attitudes to learning that develop confidence, motivation and aspiration.
We strive for innovation and creativity, keeping a modern focus whilst ensuring traditional values such as courtesy and respect are maintained. Furthermore, we advocate the power of positive reinforcement – an effective way to develop the growth mindset and resilience needed for life beyond Maltman’s.

Maltman’s Green is a charitable trust administered by a Board of Governors, and is a member of the IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools). Our most recent ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) inspection awarded us ‘excellent’ in all areas and shown us to be compliant in all regulatory aspects. Find out more.
Maltman’s Green is an Eco School and has gained Green Flag status for our efforts in sustainability and eco awareness. Our girls develop an appreciation for nature and the environment in our Woodland School and through outdoor learning.
The school welcomes pupils from all backgrounds. Although secular, Christian values are maintained whilst respect for the beliefs, cultures and faiths of others is embedded in all that we do.
At Maltman’s Green we are always keen to support community groups, other schools and, of course, charities. Throughout the year the girls undertake fundraising initiatives to support various charities as well as contribute to school events aimed at supporting our featured charities.
