During their time at Maltman’s Green the girls are taken on a number of day trips to a wide variety of locations. The trips are designed to link with course work, expanding each pupils’ knowledge and understanding through a range of practical and cultural experiences.

  • Year 5: Hampton Court
  • Year 6: Hazard Alley
  • Year 6: Globe Theatre

Residential Trips

At Maltman’s Green, we pride ourselves on being able to offer a wide range of experiences to our girls beyond the normal academic curriculum. Our programme of residential visits has been running for a number of years and there are opportunities for all children from Year 4 to Year 6 to participate in at least one residential visit per year.

Residential trips can vary, especially in light of travel restrictions due to COVID-19, but as an example, girls usually get to enjoy the following:

  • Year 4: Swanage
  • Year 5: Longridge Activity Centre
  • Year 6: France
  • Year 6: Skiing (the Alps)
