Mrs Pardon to Retire

13th March 19

On behalf of the Governors, I am writing to let you know that Mrs Pardon has today announced to the staff and girls, that she is to retire from Maltman’s Green in July 2020 after 15 excellent years as Headmistress. The Governing Body has already started the search for a worthy successor to Mrs Pardon, and hope to make an announcement of the next Head by the end of June this year.

Mrs Pardon has kindly given the Governors additional notice of her intentions which means there will be an entire academic year in which the new Head can get to know the School, and vice versa, so that they are fully prepared to take the lead in September 2020.

There will be many opportunities to thank Mrs Pardon for the extraordinary dedication she has brought to her leadership, to the School and to the girls, and events to mark her departure will be announced in due course. In the meantime, please be assured that the Governing Body will work tirelessly to recruit the very best candidate to continue the development of this unique and leading Prep School.

Kind regards

Carolyn Bradley
Chair, Board of Governors
