22nd June 22
On Tuesday 16 June, the Year 4 girls travelled to the Henry Moore Studios and gardens in Perry Green to look at his studio spaces, his creative process, including his maquette making, carving, etching and drawing studios.
Henry Moore is one of the most significant British artists of the twentieth century. He is best known for his semi-abstract monumental bronze sculptures which are located around the world as public works of art.
It was a beautifully sunny day for the trip and the girls had great fun exploring the grounds and Moore’s unique works of art.
