5th March 21
Many of our girls celebrated World Book Day at home this year, but this didn’t stop them from turning up to their live form times and lessons dressed to impress in some of the most wonderful and imaginative costumes.
Book Day is not just about the dressing up – it’s about sharing a love of books and reading, and we encouraged the girls to share with each other their favourite books. We were also super impressed by Head Librarian, Evie, and friend, Lucille, in Year 6 who put together a World Book Day ‘Kahoot’ quiz for all the girls in Year 6 to enjoy. Well done to Mia for coming 1st, Harriet 2nd and Imogen 3rd.
During the week the girls were also encouraged to enjoy reading in unusual places! We had girls reading up trees, while hanging upside down from climbing frames and even reading to guinea pigs.
