A Phased Re-opening

We have had a busy half-term of distance learning and our girls have been enjoying all of the projects and activities set by their teachers. We have shared photos, videos and lots of stories – we hope you have managed to see some of these here and on our social media pages. The teachers have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the girls’ work.

In line with government directives we are delighted to be able to welcome back some of our girls for the second half of the term. We are planning for a phased return with Year 6 returning on Monday 1 June, Year 1 on Wednesday 3 June, Reception on Friday 5 June and Nursery on Monday 8 June. This will allow us to implement an orderly return in as safe a manner as possible.

We heartily regret that we have not been given consent for all girls to return to school but we hope that the Government might allow for this before the summer holidays. As it stands, girls in Year 2 to Year 5 will continue to receive distance learning for the second half of the summer term and we look forward to celebrating the end of this academic year in a fun, virtual way. We are so proud of our Year 6 girls’ amazing achievement. If you’d like to find out what makes our school so special, come and visit us on our Spring Term Open Day live in school on Friday 19 March. We look forward to being able to show you around our facilities and give you an opportunity to see the school in action. We will be conducting private tours at set times in order to adhere to social distancing.
