15th October 19
Each Tuesday morning, an energetic group of staff and governors enjoy an early morning swim in our wonderful pool. This month is national Swimming Down Dementia month and our swimmers have decided to take part, scheduling their swim for 6.30am on Tuesday 22 October. Mrs Bradley (Chair of Governors), Mrs Starrs (Governor), Mrs McCooke, Mr Halward, Miss Clarke, Mrs O’Callaghan and Mrs Arden have all challenged themselves to break their current swimming records with targets ranging from 30 lengths to over 70 lengths.

Did you know that 1 in 3 people born in the UK this year will develop dementia in their lifetime? There are many different types of dementia and more understanding is urgently needed.
Can you support our staff/governor team and help this worthwhile cause?
