As a one-off fundraising initiative for our chosen charity for the year – Malaika Kids UK – our girls have been given a tube of Smarties to take home. Whether they eat them is optional, we’re only interested in what they do with the empty tubes!
The idea is that the girls earn a small monetary reward for being helpful at home or for demonstrating one of the Maltman’s Mindsets (perseverance, collaboration, empathy, independence, respect, or reflection). They pop their coins into the empty Smarties tube to bring back to school as a small, generous donation to Malaika Kids UK.
Of course, this is entirely voluntary, but we hope lots of our girls can join in.
