Trips are an integral part of our curriculum, with each year group enjoying excursions that align with the topics studied during the term.
Making a day of it
From the very first trip, each excursion is designed to foster independence and curiosity, making their learning come to life through practical experiences. Whether they are visiting local historical sites, exploring museums or venturing into nature, our girls gain a deeper understanding of the world around them, all while building new friendships and creating memories.
Our trips and residentials programme makes their education an unforgettable journey, preparing them for a bright and adventurous future.
Making memories that last a lifetime.
In addition to day trips, residential stays begin in Year 3 with an exciting one-night adventure at Longridge. Each year, the length of the residential trip increases, culminating in a four-night stay in France in Year 6. These experiences provide invaluable opportunities for learning, personal growth, bonding outside of the classroom and putting the ‘Maltman’s Mindsets’ into practise.
Making their independence grow
Making their experiences outside the classroom as rich as those inside is key to shaping well-rounded, confident individuals. Our residentials allow the girls to explore new environments, challenge themselves, and discover hidden talents.
By the time they reach Year 6, their four-night adventure in France is not only a highlight of their time at Maltman’s Green but also a testament to the personal growth they’ve experienced over the years.
