I am Ashmi Morjaria, the proud Headmistress of Maltman’s Green School, and I am delighted to welcome you to our wonderful community.

Founded in 1918 by Beatrice Chambers, Maltman’s Green School has a rich heritage of educating and empowering girls. Her vision — to nurture confident, capable young women — continues to underpin everything we do today.

At Maltman’s Green School, from the moment your daughter joins us, she is known as an individual — her strengths are recognised and her areas for development are thoughtfully supported. It is through this personalised approach that we achieve academic excellence.

This year, we celebrated 17 senior school scholarships and an impressive 78% 11+ pass rate. However, we firmly believe that education extends far beyond academics. Our extensive co-curricular programme, ensures that every girl can find her voice, explore her passions freely, and embrace new challenges with growing confidence and courage. Whether she is designing and racing our Goblin Cars or taking part in the Cicero Debate Club, our girls are challenged to think creatively, collaborate and express themselves with conviction.

Our small class sizes and exceptional facilities, set within our beautiful 12-acre campus, provide an inspiring environment in which to learn and thrive. From our six-lane indoor swimming pool, dance studio, and theatre, to our STEAM lab, art studio, and woodland school, opportunities are abundant.

I am immensely proud that our girls develop into confident, compassionate, courageous, and collaborative changemakers. They are supported by a team of highly skilled and dedicated staff — including specialist teachers who bring expertise and passion to every stage of your daughter’s learning.

A strong sense of community lies at the heart of the school. From house charity events to initiatives such as delivering cookies to members of our local community, our girls learn the importance of kindness, contribution and connection. They understand that small acts can make a meaningful difference, and that they have a role to play in supporting each other.

We believe that a happy girl is a successful girl. That is why we dedicate meaningful time within our busy timetable, to wellbeing and pastoral care. We nurture self-belief, emotional strength and resilience — qualities that our girls carry with them into the next stage of their educational journey and beyond.
