We are committed to instilling in our pupils a deep understanding of a wide range of charitable needs, encouraging them to engage with international and national causes, the environment, their local communities and charities promoting children’s welfare.

Through their House system, they actively participate in pupil lead fundraising initiatives for charities whom they suggest and vote for, fostering a strong sense of responsibility and compassion.

Our community outreach extends beyond just fundraising with regular visits to local care homes to perform Christmas carols and music concerts throughout the year. Additionally, our pupils deliver Christmas gifts to neighbours, spreading that extra little bit of seasonal kindness and goodwill.

To recognise their charitable efforts, pupils are celebrated in our weekly Purple Print newsletter, highlighting their contributions to local and global communities.

From the youngest pupils to those preparing to leave, our girls are encouraged to take action, make a difference, and be a force for good in the world. By involving them in a range of charitable initiatives, we are making sure they understand the importance of giving back, not just within the school but in the wider community.

We believe in making charity a central part of every girl’s education.

Our charitable focus covers a variety of important areas, including support for international projects, environmental campaigns and charities that promote children’s welfare, both locally and globally. Whether they are raising funds for a featured charity, volunteering their time, or learning about the broader impact of their actions, we are making their awareness and compassion grow.

Making a difference through charity is also about personal development. As they engage with these initiatives, the girls learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership and empathy. By supporting others, they build a stronger sense of community and understand that they have the power to make meaningful changes in the world.

Choosing Maltman’s Green means choosing a school where charity and community engagement are not just values, but everyday practices.

Our commitment to charity ensures that your daughter will grow into a thoughtful, conscientious individual, ready to make her mark on the world.
