Hemal is an experienced financial leader with more than 20 years’ expertise in financial strategy, operational efficiency and governance. He has held senior leadership roles at Barclays across both Corporate and Retail Banking, where he managed significant budgets, delivered cost efficiencies and led large-scale strategic transformation programmes.

Hemal has a strong personal connection to independent education, with his children attending Maltman’s Green and other leading schools. This experience gives him a clear appreciation of the value such an education brings and a commitment to ensuring its accessibility and sustainability.

Hemal’s skills in financial oversight, risk management and long-term strategic planning allow him to make a valuable contribution to the Governing Board, supporting Maltman’s Green in delivering both educational excellence and sound financial governance.
