This unique programme is designed to help our girls discover, develop and express their voices with clarity, confidence and conviction. The Your Voice Award aims to empower every girl in our Prep School to articulate her thoughts eloquently, building essential communication skills that will serve her throughout her life.

Making Their Communication Strong

The Your Voice Award covers a range of verbal communication skills, including oracy, recitation, prosody, rendition and debate. Through this award, our girls refine their public speaking abilities and cultivate critical thinking, persuasive techniques and self-expression. These essential skills are integrated into subjects such as English, Drama, History and Current Affairs, ensuring that the Your Voice Award becomes a core part of the curriculum.

By learning to express themselves in a variety of formats, our girls will build the confidence to speak in any setting, from the classroom to formal presentations. The award also encourages them to think critically about the world around them, nurturing informed, thoughtful young minds who are prepared to engage in meaningful discussions.
