Making Their Communication Skills Flourish

Starting from Little Malties at age 2, our girls are introduced to French, taught by our talented teaching team of native French speakers. As they progress through the school, they are immersed in engaging lessons designed to spark their curiosity and enthusiasm for languages. By the time they reach Year 6, they have the opportunity to expand their linguistic repertoire by learning Spanish, further enhancing their communication skills and cultural understanding.

Our approach to language learning isn’t just about vocabulary and grammar – it’s about making their confidence grow by engaging them in fun, interactive activities that bring language to life. Whether through songs, stories, role-playing or cultural celebrations, we ensure that every girl is excited to use her new language skills, both inside and outside the classroom.

Through our comprehensive languages programme, we foster a love of language learning and cultural exploration from an early age, helping each girl to broaden her horizons, develop new skills and build the confidence to express herself in multiple languages.

In today’s globalised world, understanding different cultures is more important than ever. This a core part of our language teaching. Our girls don’t just learn how to speak another language; they gain insights into the cultures, customs and traditions of French and Spanish speaking countries. This cultural immersion helps our girls develop a broader perspective, fostering open-mindedness and respect for other cultures.
