Sonal brings extensive experience in education, having held senior leadership roles including Director of Learning Support and Deputy Head Academic at a large independent school in Surrey. With over a decade of involvement in school leadership, she has developed strong expertise in academic strategy, teaching and learning, and whole-school development. Her academic foundation includes an MSc in Education Leadership, supporting her work in shaping effective educational policy and practice.
Sonal has previously served as a governor in Surrey, giving her valuable insight into governance, strategic planning and the wider responsibilities of school oversight. Her experience in developing policies, supporting curriculum enhancements and driving high standards in teaching and learning equips her well for her role at Maltman’s Green.
She looks forward to contributing meaningfully to the Governing Board, supporting sound decision-making and helping to ensure positive outcomes for pupils, staff and the wider school community.
