Maltman’s Belles at Marlow Music Festival

20th November 18

This year’s Senior Handbell team – affectionately known as the Maltmans’ Belles – should feel very proud of their first public performance last night at the Marlow Music Festival. They played professionally, receiving lovely feedback from the adjudicator about how well they listen to each other whilst playing which is a key feature of playing as an ensemble.

They received a Gold medal and a high Distinction, playing the famous winter classic “The Skaters” as well as “We Wish you a Merry Christmas”, both of which will be aired next at the Year 5&6 Carol Service. Well done to Miss Guy for preparing the girls for the event and a big thank you to Mrs Campbell for accompanying the girls helping with the equipment.

Adjudicator’s comments

“You all look and perform very professionally – well done! Your ensemble is very good and you are all watching the conductor…you all play together and in time. This was great – well done again!”
