Year 1 Seaside Holidays in the Past Workshop – Visit from Chertsey Museum

12th June 18

On Friday 8th June, Year 1 had a special visit from Chertsey Museum. We took part in a Seaside Holidays in the Past workshop to enrich our History topic this term.

We were lucky enough to see some genuine historical artefacts, including a Victorian ice-cream maker and some very old swimming costumes! During the workshop, we all had fun walking along the promenade in our beautiful Victorian outfits, we made our own Punch puppets and performed some Punch and Judy shows.

We all had a fantastic time and learnt lots about Seaside holidays in the past.

Open Day: Friday 8 October

Join us on Friday 8 October to see the School in action, observe lessons, talk to teachers and pupils, and tour our facilities.
