Summer Concerts

6th June 18

Last night’s concerts featured a wide range of abilities, musical styles, instruments and vocal talents, showcasing the hard work and enthusiasm of girls who have put in lots of practice over the past two terms. Well done to all of those soloists who performed, some for the first time; all dealt with any nerves in a very mature manner and performed beautifully.

Also, a huge well done to all of the girls who have attended ensemble rehearsals week in, week out, learning songs in the choirs and pieces in handbells, guitar, brass and flute groups and also the orchestra. After a very brief start to the term, the girls didn’t have a lot of time to prepare but they really pulled out all of the stops and you would never have guessed that some groups only had three full rehearsals since March!

We are very proud of all of the girls involved, putting on two fantastic concerts for their encouraging parents, family and staff in the audiences.
