Maltman’s girls excel at 11+ Transfer Test

11th May 18

Maltman’s Green is a non-selective school which strives for ‘excellence with a sense of fun’. Girls are given every opportunity as well as the care and support needed to realise their potential. Each year, the results of the optional 11+ Transfer Test are high and this year is no exception.

80% of girls who took the test achieved the pass rate, making them eligible to attend the excellent grammar schools in the area such as Beaconsfield and Dr Challoner’s High Schools. Additionally, a high number of places have been offered to independent senior schools such as Downe House, Pipers Corner, Roedean, Royal Masonic, St George’s, Wycombe Abby, Headington and Berkhamsted, to name a few.

A record number of scholarships were awarded this year including academic scholarships to St Mary’s, Queen Anne’s, The Royal Masonic, Berkhamsted, Pipers Corner and St George’s; sport scholarships to St Helen’s, St Mary’s and Berkhamsted; and performance scholarships to St Clement Danes, Headington and Berkhamsted.

Maltman’s Green truly provides a firm foundation, preparing girls to face the challenges of senior school and beyond with confidence, determination and a lifelong love of learning.
