Sedbergh Netball Trip July 2017

21st September 17

If it’s the end of July, it must be time for the for the Sedbergh Netball Trip and once again a merry band of intrepid netball players, led by Mrs Simmons and Mrs Foster, travelled all the way north to the Cumbrian Fells and the delights of Sedbergh School.

It was four days of fun filled, furious netball. New skills were learnt, tactics were developed and game play improved. All this was practised under the watchful eye of very prestigious netball coaches. By the end of the course, we had completely different girls thoroughly enjoying taking part in the final tournament.

Evening activities were wide and varied, culminating in the Wednesday evening bbq and we had a special visitor. Miss Clarke came to join in the fun and was overwhelmed by the choice of food and entertainment on offer.

She even stayed for the next day to see just how much the girls had improved and girls, she was impressed.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part.
