Aladdin Outing to West End

31st January 17

Last Thursday, girls from Senior and Chamber Choir along with Speech and Drama groups, had the fantastic opportunity to see the new ‘Aladdin’ show at the Prince Edward theatre in London’s West End.

Before attending the matinee performance, the girls had an exciting treat in the form of a music and movement workshop at the famous Pineapple Dance Studios nearby. The girls were divided up into groups, and taught a song from the opening of Aladdin along with choreographed dance moves, culminating in a mini performance.

The show itself was utterly fantastic – the costumes, stage scenery and special effects were all amazing, not to mention the fantastic singing and dancing from the entire cast.

We hope the girls really enjoyed the performance, as well as learning something from professional dancers and actors that they might be able to put into their own drama and singing work here in school.
