5C Class Assembly

20th January 17

On Friday 20 January we had our class assembly. It was about birthdays. We included some of the famous people’s birthdays which were on this day. We had characters and made plays about them. A few of the characters were Joy Adamson, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Will Young, Buzz Aldrin who walked on the moon and others. We sang one of Gary Barlow’s songs that he wrote for the Queen’s 86th birthday and diamond jubilee celebrations as it was also his birthday.

We had a Happy Birthday song at the start and the end. We asked Jemma and Georgie what their favourite part was and they said the video clips. When we finished our assembly Mrs Pardon said some lovely things about our assembly. She said how it took her back in time to when she lived in France. All of 5C thoroughly enjoyed preparing and doing the assembly. We hope the school enjoyed it as much as we did.
