We were delighted to welcome back Mrs Inshaw this morning to present the ‘House Trophy’ to the School in assembly. This was Mrs Inshaw’s idea and the trophy was kindly made by Mr Kehoe. The trophy is clearly displayed in the hall where the girls queue up for lunch.
This trophy is for the house that achieves the most number of pluses each term. The house that obtains the highest plus total at the end of term will have their colour ribbon round the trophy in the correct place. There is also a space at the top for the overall winner for the year – last year this was Johnson. The Johnson ribbon will stay there throughout the current year until there is a new overall winner in July 2017. The girls celebrated today with delicious yellow cupcakes at break time. Thank you very much to Mrs Inshaw and to our chef for the cakes.
We look forward to seeing who will have their colour ribbon placed on the trophy at the end of this term.
