This morning pupils we were joined by Major-General (retired) Inshaw for a very special Remembrance Assembly in the Lapraik Hall.
Each class made a beautiful poppy wreath in their form time last week and these were laid down by the girls during the service. Everyone was interested to hear Major-General Inshaw’s talk. He shared how since 1918 the history of our services’ involvement in conflicts and areas in which the armed forces were needed. Girls from Year 6 also read a poem.
On Friday 11 November the School will observe a minutes silence at 11:00 am. On Sunday 13 November, Mrs Pardon will be accompanied by pupils at the Remembrance Service at Gerrards Cross Memorial Centre on East Common at 10.30am.
