School Aims
Maltman’s Green exists to provide a broad and stimulating education within a secure and caring environment for all of its girls. It aims to foster personal qualities such as self-reliance, determination, confidence and respect for others. The children are taught to think for themselves The emphasis is on each child achieving the best they can. Excellence is sought across the curriculum, academic, sporting and creative. Classes are small, allowing for well differentiated teaching and individual support.
The staff are well qualified and dedicated. Specialist teaching is a feature of the school particularly at KS2. We aim to give all children access to a wide range of pursuits and competitive success is achieved in many areas, particularly, gymnastics, swimming and music. We aim to prepare the girls to confidently meet the challenges of transfer to their next school.
The ethos of the school includes a clear moral framework where pupils have a strong sense of purpose and enjoy working together towards common goals. The environment is happy and caring with a high standard of pastoral care.
The school welcomes pupils from all backgrounds. Although secular, Christian values are maintained whilst respect for the beliefs, cultures and faiths of others is embedded in all that we do.
We aim to provide the best in terms of facilities which are modern and extensive.
