5I Assembly- Our Skeleton and Bones

A lively mix of poems, songs and science, 5I performed with aplomb in their class assembly last Friday the 3rd of February. The theme of ‘Our Skeleton and Bones’ reflected the topic that Year 5 have been studying in Science and the star of the show was Stan the Skeleton who temporarily vacated his home in the Senior Science Lab to join 5I on stage. Soloists were Jessica Newell on the piano, Louisa Hughes-Penney on the flute and Lauren Hibbert also sang beautifully. The girls in 5I spoke clearly and the highlight of the performance was their rendition of ‘Dem Bones.’ Well done 5I!
