On Wednesday 22nd June Maltman’s hosted the first Beacon-Maltman’s Green Eco-day for Year 5. The day was a combined event and took place entirely outside despite the rain and thunder! The mixed teams of 5-7 Beacon boys and Maltman’s girls worked really well together learning teamwork, Maths, creative thinking, problem solving, nature observation, orienteering, campfire lighting and cooking.
