Extra-Curricular German.

German is offered at the school on an individual basis, in 20 minute or 40 minute lessons, once a week. This is a great introduction to another European language, creating awareness of language structure and similarity where applicable to English, French and Spanish, the other languages taught in the school.

Nowadays with popular foreign travel and much business conducted abroad, the ability to communicate in another language is a true asset and one to be encouraged. Beginning a foreign language at an early age is most beneficial and gives girls a head start for their later academic life.

The German lessons are fun and interesting, using creative worksheets, which encourage listening, reading and speaking skills and for the older girls, writing ability as well.
