Parental Matters - Reporting and Parent Evenings

We believe that the partnership with parents is crucial. Therefore, we ensure that we have regular contact with parents. This approach enables us to work with parents to provide effective teaching and learning as well as a high standard of pastoral care.

During the year there are opportunities to meet teachers at parent’s evenings as well as more informally when there is a need. We have an open door policy and always want to hear from parents before an issue becomes a problem.

Parents are kept well informed of their daughter’s progress through regular written reports and a full summative written report is sent to all parents at the end of the school year. The report contains information about an individual’s achievements, their academic progress and draws attention to particular strengths and weaknesses.

In the Summer Term there is an Open Day enabling parents to see the work and achievements of children throughout the School on display.
