Extra Curricular - Boarding Week - Year 5

During the Summer Term, we offer two happy, practical weeks of boarding opportunity, and a ‘live-in’ experience, for those wishing to consider senior boarding schools.

The most popular events include night fire practice, sweetie rounders (tuck night), and a video picnic (final evening)! However, the rest of teach week is an accurate resemblance of routine, curriculum and expectations to be found in boarding school life. This enables the girls and parents alike to make an informed choice as to future options.

In the evenings, the girls are encouraged to continue with regular extra-curricular commitments in school, and have the opportunity to do daily music practice and homework under supervised conditions. The girls have a choice of dormitories, their own shower block, a full menu for supper, a mid-week wash for clothes, bedside drawers / pin board and after supper activities.
