The girls in the senior school are divided into four houses named Aylwood, Bronte, Johnson and Pankhurst. Each house has a colour and displays its information on a notice board decorated in that colour.
The girls in each house elect, from their Year 6 girls, a House Captain and a Vice Captain and meet regularly throughout each term under the auspices of the senior school teachers.
One of the main objectives of the houses is to support charities and during the house meetings the Captains organise how they are going to raise money for their charity.
In addition, the Captains, with the assistance of the house PE member of staff, select the teams for the inter house sports events such as rounders, netball and swimming.
During the house meetings each child will declare any pluses and minuses they have received as these count towards the house total at the end of each term.
