In the Junior School each class has its own reward system of stars or stickers. These are accumulated in order to gain a one star, then a two star and finally a three star badge.
Each year group has its own differently coloured star badges which are awarded at the end of each term when the whole school meets for the final assembly.
Girls in the Senior School earn pluses which are given by teachers for good work, effort, improvement or helpfulness. Minuses are also issued where a girl has performed her work poorly, not done her prep or has infringed against the school rules of behaviour. Where the offence is deemed serious, then further measures may be taken to help the child to improve her behaviour.
A total of twenty pluses will achieve the award of a silver bar and a total of forty pluses the award of a gold bar. These bars are presented to the girls in assembly and are worn as badges.
Minuses deduct from the score of pluses.
At the end of each term the net total of the pluses gained by all the girls in each of the four houses is calculated and the house with the highest total is rewarded with a party for its members.
Polite and courteous behaviour is rewarded with courtesy badges which are awarded termly to girls throughout the whole school.
